QPR sign Finnish defender
QPR have completed the signing of MyPa central defender Sampsa Timoska, according to Urheilulehti. The signing will most likely be officially announced by the R's early this week.
27-year-old Timoska is widely considered one of the best defenders in the Finnish Veikkausliiga and a move abroad was just a matter of time. Capped twice for Finland, Timoska is a reliable stylish figure at the heart of defence, and is known for his positioning, tackling and his famous ponytail.
He was linked with a move to Leeds before completing the move to Loftus Road, and previously spent some time training with Colchester.
