QPR 'couldn't afford' loyal Lloyd !
Watford gaffer Aidy Boothroyd has told the ever-so-informative people down at the Watford Observer that right back Lloyd Doyley "is not going anywhere" amid reports of a potential £500k offer from QPR. Boothroyd has issued the hands off warning to the money men at Loftus Road as he prepares his troops for the visit of the not-so-super Hoops tomorrow . He reckons the fifth richest family in the world - who now run QPR - couldn`t afford the ever present full back even if he was for sale, stating "they haven`t got enough money to buy him anyway". Doyley, a product of Watford`s youth academy, has been at the club since he was 11 years old and is an established, consistent and reliable face in the Hornets back-line. Lloyd said "It`s nice to be linked but I`m a Watford player and I`ve still got another year and a half to run on my contract". Loyalty is everything Lloyd and you should be rewarded with a contract extension.

is he on drugs we can afford anyone now and if he is only valued at £500k you can keep him.you know what you get with most watford players it's called "LUMP IT OUT" football.i would much prefer a full back who can play the game on the floor not bounce it off the moon.

Yeah the good times should be just round the corner...after all 60's we were great, and 70's well we were superb and the 80's well a couple of finals and then 90's thats when it all went wrong...cant wait for next season. :one:
