QPR and Ipswich Town to make Carr move?
Coca-Cola Championship pair QPR and Ipswich Town are ready to offer former Republic of Ireland international Stephen Carr a route back into professional football.
Carr has been without a club since being released by Newcastle United at the end of last season.
The Dubliner, who turns 32 this week, has played more than 300 Premier League games during a 14-year top flight career.
He was linked with Wigan Athletic earlier in the summer but now appears set to drop down a division to continue his career.
