QPR 0-2 Cardiff
Goals from Steven MacLean and Paul Parry gave Cardiff City a 2-0 victory over Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road.
Maclean struck his first goal of the season after 29 minutes to give the visitors the lead.
And on the hour Paul Parry made it 2-0 heading home Stephen McPhail's cross.
But in between Ranger's Stefan Moore struck the post, and in a late surge Hogan Ephraim drew a fine save from Cardiff keeper Ross Turnbull.

Cardiff manager Dave Jones:
"Any win is satisfying and we played pretty well.
"QPR tried to beat us up and the lads stood up firm and never folded against a big, physical side."
"The two up front did well and Paul Parry gave them problems and something to think about
"We've worked hard this week after the defeat last weekend. We are in the first throws of the start of a very long campaign. Everyone stood up to be counted and we never gave up."
QPR manager John Gregory:
"We were second to the ball over the pitch.
"Cardiff have a wealth of experience and I have to say they were on the front foot throughout and played very well.
"Apart from a period at the start of the second half, Cardiff dominated the game and our performance was poor.
"Cardiff chased lost balls, harassed our players and worked harder than us. We looked timid and well below par."
