QPR 0-0 Wolves
Wolves were unable to force their way into the Championship play-off places as they missed plenty of chances at Loftus Road. Carl Cort and Paul Ince both went close and Scottish international Kenny Miller saw his effort cleared off the line as Rangers held firm. Jeremie Aliadiere had a good chance towards the end but fired straight at Paul Jones. Wolves are now unbeaten in their last five matches. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- QPR caretaker-manager Gary Waddock: "I'm very pleased. The performance was good considering we had to make quite a few changes. "I thought Stefan Bailey was outstanding especially as he was playing against Paul Ince and Darren Anderton and hasn't been involved with the first team much. "Stefan has only been a professional for a week. He's a good lad, he competes, and he will stand up for himself." Wolves manager Glenn Hoddle: "It's been a decent day. Crystal Palace lost and we play Cardiff next week, so we're still in the driving seat. "The disappointing thing is that if we had won we'd have been in the top six and that would put Preston under pressure. "We had chances to win the game and I feel we should have done so." -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- QPR: Jones, Bignot, Shittu, Rose, Milanese, Ainsworth, Langley, Bailey, Cook, Gallen (Youssouf 63), Furlong.
