Postma move in doubt
Stefan Postma will take ADO Den Haag to the arbritration committee of the Dutch equivalent of The FA in his bid to secure a move to QPR.
Goalkeeper Postma has agreed terms on an 18-month contract with the London club, but ADO appear to have blocked the deal.
Postma’s agent insists the shot-stopper has a clause in his contract allowing him to move and the Dutch side are disputing this.
“In his contract is the clause that Stefan can leave ADO if a club pays the remainder of what is left on his contract,” said the player’s agent Hakim Slimani.
“That means that a club needs to pay six months wages and not an extra transfer fee.”
Slimani has consulted a legal expert and the arbitration committee of the KNVB will now hear the cases of both parties.
“Stefan needs to keep himself quiet now. We find it a pity that we can’t work it out, of course Stefan has nothing against ADO,” added Postma’s agent.
The goalkeeper joined Aston Villa in 2002 and then went out on-loan to Wolves before joining his present club.
