Barnsley v Plymouth
Barnsley defender Paul Heckingbottom will miss the midweek visit of Plymouth following his dismissal against Sheffield Wednesday. Otherwise, manager Andy Ritchie has no other injury or suspension worries. Plymouth may have to shuffle their pack because defender Mat Doumbe is banned after getting sent off against Derby. His replacement Hasney Aljofree is an injury doubt with a suspected broken nose so skipper Paul Wotton is likely to drop back from midfield to cover.

Plymouth v Burnley
Plymouth will have Mat Doumbe back after a one-match ban. Argyle also hope Nick Chadwick (groin) will be fit to return as Barry Hayles, who has scored five times this season, is an injury doubt with a groin injury. Burnley have an injury worry over veteran defender John McGreal, who has a twisted knee. Stephen Foster stands by to deputise for him again, while Danny Coyne is available after his cruciate ligament injury but is short of match fitness.

Plymouth 0-0 Burnley
Danish goalkeeper Brian Jensen kept Plymouth at bay to ensure Burnley remain the only Championship side to be unbeaten away from home. Jensen tipped over Tony Capaldi's shot and kept out an Akos Buzsaky volley and a Marcel Saip header in the first half. He had to thwart Buzsaky again but it was the crossbar that rescued him when he was beaten by Barry Hayles' effort. Andy Gray could have pinched it for Burnley but shot wide and was later denied by Argyle keeper Luke McCormick. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Plymouth boss Ian Holloway: \"We are building something here and although we didn't get the result today, we are progressing. \"It was a strange old game because there was a swirling wind out there. The sides were very evenly matched. \"It was not the prettiest of games, but I was quite pleased with the look of my team,\" he added. Burnley boss Steve Cotterill: \"I thought we might have nicked it at the end but that would not have been a fair result really.\" Cotterill also revealed his concern for striker Gifton Noel-Williams, who limped out of the game after 28 minutes with a groin injury. \"We will know how he is on Monday,\" said Cotterill. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Plymouth: McCormick, Connolly, Seip, Aljofree, Capaldi, Norris, Wotton, Nalis, Buzsaky, Hayles, Ebanks-Blake (Samba 86). Plymouth eye longer deal for Seip
Dutch centre-back Marcel Seip looks set to stay at Plymouth Argyle after opening talks with the club about a new long-term contract. The 24-year-old has been hugely impressive since signing a four-month deal with Argyle at the end of August. Manager Ian Holloway told the Plymouth Evening Herald: \"I think Marcel has done very, very well to say the least.\" Holloway also revealed the Pilgrims are in contract negotiations with defenders Tony Capaldi and Paul Connolly. Both full-backs, who have been first team regulars this season, have deals until next June. Former Heerenveen defender Seip made his Pilgrims' debut as a substitute against Southampton last month. He has subsequently started the last five matches and scored goals against Norwich City and Derby County. \"I wouldn't say I was surprised,\" Holloway added. \"I think his CV spoke louder than anything and the lad himself impressed me because he wanted to be here. \"So, obviously, I knew if he did do well we would have to give him a better deal, which I haven't got a problem with.

Crystal Palace v Plymouth
Crystal Palace hope to have James Scowcroft (hamstring) and Jobi McAnuff (hernia trouble) back for the home match against Plymouth. Danny Butterfield could feature after playing 45 minutes of a reserve game on his comeback from an ankle injury. Plymouth will be without striker Barry Hayles as their leading scorer is suspended for one match. Nick Chadwick could take Hayles' place in the side as long as he recovers from a groin injury in time.

Crystal Palace 0-1 Plymouth
Crystal Palace slipped to a third successive home defeat as Nick Chadwick gave in-form Plymouth the victory. Chadwick reacted quickly when Sylvan Ebanks-Blake's curling shot rebounded off the post just before half-time. Just before that goal, Ebanks-Blake came close to scoring himself, only to be thwarted by goalkeeper Gabor Kiraly. Palace switched to a three-pronged attack at the start of the second half and Dougie Freedman forced a smart save from Plymouth keeper Luke McCormick. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Crystal Palace manager Peter Taylor: \"If we didn't give the very poor goal away, which should have been cleared, maybe we wouldn't be talking about another defeat. \"We know we can do a lot better but it's another disappointing defeat so I understand everyone's frustrations. \"We've got to look to go up to Sheffield Wednesday and get a result.\" Plymouth manager Ian Holloway on his side's attitude after defender Hasney Aljofree missed the game due to a bereavement: \"They just get on with it because they realise it's all about the Green Army, not themselves. \"I'm delighted with them, delighted for them as well. I think their spirit, again, shines through. \"We're not the biggest but our heart is bigger than most.\" -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Crystal Palace: Kiraly, Lawrence, Ward (Green 73), Cort, Borrowdale, Kennedy, Soares, Fletcher (Butterfield 46), Reich (Kuqi 46), Freedman, Morrison. Plymouth v Ipswich
Plymouth's top-scorer Barry Hayles is available for the match against in-form Ipswich after completing his ban. Lee Hodges (knee) is fit again but likely to play another reserve match first while Hasney Aljofree is on compassionate leave. Ipswich have a doubt over skipper Jason De Vos, who limped off during Sunday's win over Luton with a dead leg. Boss Jim Magilton must also decide whether to recall on-loan West Ham midfielder Mark Noble.

Plymouth 1-1 Ipswich
Paul Wotton's fourth goal of the season stretched Plymouth's unbeaten run to seven games against 10-man Ipswich. Sylvain Legwinski gave Ipswich a first-minute lead when he lashed home Matt Richards' corner. But Wotton levelled after 22 minutes when he headed home after Tony Capaldi's corner. Plymouth pressed for the winner, but Ipswich survived, even though Fabian Wilnis was sent off 13 minutes from time for a second bookable offence. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Plymouth manager Ian Holloway: \"I am not happy because it is all about winning. But I may be happy when I see the video of the match again as we created so many chances. \"After conceding so early, I thought we played some of the best, if not the best, football we've played all season. \"I hope it was exciting but we didn't win and winning is what it's all about if you want to achieve your dream.\" Ipswich boss Jim Magilton: \"Plymouth made it very difficult for us but the players were fantastic and it's a good point for us. \"I'm really proud of every one of them. They never wilted under the pressure, especially when Fabian Wilnis had got sent off, they showed real character. \"They threw their bodies on the line for the team and they deserve all the credit going for that.\" -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Plymouth: McCormick, Connolly, Seip, Doumbe, Capaldi, Norris, Wotton, Nalis, Buzsaky, Chadwick (Hayles 59), Ebanks-Blake (Samba 66). Connolly pens new Plymouth deal
Defender Paul Connolly has signed a new deal with Plymouth. Connolly, 23, has penned a one-year extension to his contract which will see him stay at Home Park until the summer of 2008. The right-back was an apprentice with Argyle and made his 101st appearance for the club in Saturday's 1-0 loss against Birmingham. He signed professional terms in 2000 and made his debut at 17 in the last game of the 2000/01 season.

Seip, 24, joined from Heerenveen and signed a short-term contract at Home Park in August, and has now started the last eight matches in the league. Argyle boss Ian Holloway told the club website: \"He had added to us both on and off the field. \"I have been pleased with how he has settled into the group.\"

Leicester 2-2 Plymouth
Barry Hayles headed a last-minute equaliser as Plymouth twice came from behind to earn a point at Leicester. The veteran striker nodded in Tony Capaldi's left-wing cross from inside the six-yard box to salvage a draw. Leicester took the lead when Iain Hume latched on to a Momo Sylla pass to slot home, but Argyle levelled when Lilian Nalis fired home from Capaldi's cross. Plymouth v Hull
Plymouth will be without midfielder David Norris and defender Hasney Aljofree, who are both suspended. Lee Hodges (knee) and Paul Connolly (hamstring) are out, while Nick Chadwick (groin) and Sylvan Ebanks-Blake (hamstring) are missing. Hull caretaker-boss Phil Brown could make several changes, but Nick Barmby is likely to keep his place.
