Wright demands more from Willock
Peterborough boss Mark Wright wants Calum Willock to score much more goals next season and help fire the club straight back into League One. Willock was Posh's top scorer last term with 14 but Wright told the Evening Telegraph: "I want more from him. "He has a lot of potential and now it is time to fulfil it. "Hopefully the way we train him will make that happen. He was injured a lot last season, which makes me wonder about his treatment in pre-season."

Peterborough complete Gain swoop

"We have been after him for quite some time, and it is great that he has decided to come here. He has signed a three-year contract." He added: "Peter was the first player that Mark Wright identified when he came here and we're delighted to sign such a good player." Gain had been offered a new deal by Lincoln after making 261 senior appearances for the Imps since joining from Tottenham in 1999 - but has now moved to London Road.

Wright moves for Chester's Carden
Peterborough United boss Mark Wright has returned to former club Chester to sign out-of-contract midfielder Paul Carden on a two-year contract. "He breaks things up, chases players down and has leadership qualities." Carden added: "I won the league under Mark with Chester and they were great times. I jumped at the chance to come down and have a look around. "I had been at Chester five years and this is a fresh challenge for me. I can't wait to get started."
