Parker makes QPR return
QPR have appointed former defender Paul Parker as the club's commercial and communication director.
Parker, 43, who enjoyed four years as a player at Loftus Road between June 1987 and August 1991, will oversee Rangers' public relations operations.
He told the club's official website: "I have got myself back into a club that has always meant so much to me. It is 20 years to the month that I joined the club as a player so it is a nice way to celebrate that anniversary.
"I will be working with the staff that are already in place but hopefully I will be able to open a few doors and drive the club's off-field activities to create further revenue.
"I have got some good contacts within the commercial and PR world so that is a good start, but we will just take it one step at a time.
"I have been around the club quite a lot during the last few weeks and I am convinced they have got the right people in place to take it to the next level."
