Paladini warning for Spurs
Queens Park Rangers chairman Gianni Paladini has insisted The R’s will not pay over the odds for Tottenham winger Wayne Routledge. The Loftus Road outfit are flush with cash following the takeover by Flavio Briatore, Bernie Ecclestone and Lakshmi Mittal and have already been active players in the January transfer window. There are sure to be more arrivals before the month is out and Routledge is a player who has crossed their radar. The winger seems surplus to requirements at White Hart Lane, but Paladini claims they will not be held to ransom over the 22-year-old. ”Wayne would do well here but although we now have solid finances, nobody is going to pay silly money,” Paladini is quoted as saying in the News of the World.

AMEN to that no-one should hold us to ransom over ANY player and i can't see it happening.having all this money doesn't mean we get wasteful with it that is the chelscum attitude i.e. shevplanko and we don't want to go down that route.

As I mentioned earlier too...Rowan vine...I thought that the price for him was 1-1.5 Million as soon as the extra influx of money arrived the rpice went up to 2.5!!.....I wouldn't worry though I feel Paladini is so shrewd and not a man to be toyed with...no money will be wasted.
