Potts seals Burscough loan move Altrincham winger Colin Potts has secured a loan move to UniBond League side Burscough.
He has joined for an unspecified period following his recovery from a hernia operation during the summer.
The former Northwich and Stalybridge player, 28, made 35 Conference appearances for Altrincham last season.
Meanwhile, Robins boss Graham Heathcote has added former Oldham youngster Danny Heffernan to his first-team squad after impressing in the reserves.

Orient winger joins Lewes on loan Teenage Leyton Orient winger Derek Duncan has joined Conference South side Lewes on a month's loan.
Duncan, 19, has made 23 senior appearances for the O's since his debut in 2004, but has not figured for Martin Ling's side this season.
Ling told Orient's website: \"This gives Derek the chance to get a nucleus of games at senior level under his belt.
\"The Conference South offers a good standard of football and Derek's month at Lewes will do him a world of good.\"

Hinckley Utd defender Gadbsy dies Hinckley United's Matt Gadsby died after collapsing on the pitch during a Conference North game on Saturday.
The 27-year-old defender fell to the ground with no-one near him during the first half of their game at Harrogate.
A statement from Hinckley chairman Kevin Downes said: \"This is an absolute tragedy and our thoughts are with Matthew's family and friends.\"
Gadsby joined Hinckley on a free in the summer from Forest Green having started his career at Walsall as a trainee.
He also played for Mansfield Town and Kidderminster Harriers.
Downes continued: \"Incidents like this put everything into perspective and no-one can quite come to terms with what has happened.
\"The medics were on the pitch within seconds and their treatment was first-class and they did everything they could along with the staff at the hospital which was next door to the ground.
\"Matthew had made a big impact on the football club during his time at the Marston's Stadium and he will be sadly missed by everyone.\"
Gadsby joined Hinckley on a one-year contract this summer and leaves behind a young daughter and wife Sarah.
Hinckley's match away to Moor Green on Tuesday night has been postponed as a mark of respect.

Nuneaton star claims FA Cup award Nuneaton forward Gary McPhee has won the FA Cup \"Player of the Round\" award for the second qualifying round.
McPhee scored an 18-minute hat-trick as Conference North side Borough demolished local rivals Oadby Town 6-0.
The other four players nominated were Charley Hearn (Fisher), Arron Benstead (Haverhill), Craig Westcarr (Kettering) and Danny Toronczak (Ossett Albion).
McPhee now joins Halesowen Town's Matt Lewis, from the first qualifying round, in the \"Team of the FA Cup\".
He will also receive a VIP invitation to the 2007 FA Cup final, an engraved silver salver, and £500 worth of football equipment for a local school of his choice.

Harefield to replay Edgeware game Edgeware Town's match against Harefield United on 5 September must be replayed after the referee incorrectly disallowed a penalty during the game.
The referee ruled out a penalty for encroachment but, instead of ordering a re-take, mistakenly awarded an indirect free-kick to Harefield.
Edgeware went on to lose the match 1-0, but the FA and Spartan South Midlands league have ordered it be replayed.
Harefield are now a point off top spot and just a point ahead of Edgeware.

Yeovil let Alcock move to Weston Yeovil Town defender Craig Alcock has joined Conference South side Weston-super-Mare on a month's loan.
Alcock signed his first professional contract at Huish Park during the summer, but is yet to make his Glovers first-team debut.
\"It's an opportunity for Craig to get competitive football, playing in a men's league,\" manager Russell Slade told Yeovil's website.

Man arrested over football racism An 18-year-old man has been arrested after allegations by a football manager that at least one of his players was racially abused during a match.
The game on Saturday between Workington and Redditch United was abandoned in the second half when United's manager Gary Whild refused to leave the pitch.
He claims that some of the crowd abused his players and he went on the pitch at Borough Park to alert the referee.
Cumbria Police said the teenager has been released on police bail.
It is not known whether the match official realised the exact nature of Mr Whild's complaint.
Witnesses sought
In a statement, the force confirmed both clubs, who play in the Conference North league, are helping with its inquiry.
\"Workington police are investigating alleged racist comments and conduct from a member or members of the crowd, allegedly directed at a Redditch player at the match between the two clubs.
It added the force was \"committed to deal effectively and robustly with racist behaviour\".
People who witnessed any racial abuse should contact police.

The ex-Millwall man, who is a Grenada international, scored the opener in their 2-1 win against Evesham.

Smith takes over as Weston boss Conference South side Weston-super-Mare have promoted Chris Smith to manager, with previous boss Frank Gregan moving up to become director of football.
Other changes see defender Mike Kilgour named as assistant manager, with former Weston midfielder Tommy Callinan rejoining the club as physiotherapist.

Guiseley appoint Dolan as manager UniBond League side Guiseley AFC have appointed former Bradford, Hull and York City manager Terry Dolan as their new head coach.
Dolan arrives at the ambitious Yorkshire club as a replacement for former West Brom and Huddersfield defender Neil Parsley.
Dolan, 56, has been out of management since leaving York in May, 2003.

Match staged in memory of player Former internationals are to play in a football match in Staffordshire on Sunday in memory of a defender who died aged 27 after collapsing on the pitch.
A post-mortem examination revealed Matt Gadsby, who was in action for Hinckley United when the tragedy happened on 9 September, had a heart condition.
The memorial game is between Tamworth Sunday league team Newton Thistle and a Leicester City old stars side.
Peter Shilton and Cyrille Regis are among ex-England players due to play.
Play-off victory
Ex-Leicester pair Gary Mills and Paul Ramsey, Aston Villa's European Cup winners Gordon Cowans and Tony Morley, and one of Coventry's FA Cup winners Micky Gynn, are expected to feature.
More than £20,000 has been raised in memory of Matt Gadsby, who collapsed in the first half of a match at Harrogate.
The former Kidderminster defender, who lived at Swadlincote in Derbyshire, featured in Walsall's play-off final victory against Reading at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium in 2001.
Sunday's memorial game will kick off at 1330 GMT at the Newton Regis recreational ground, Tamworth.
The prices are £3 for adults and £1 for children with the money going to the Matthew Gadsby Trust Fund.

U's defender plans Tiptree stint Colchester defender Aarun Best is set to join Eastern Counties Division One side Tiptree United on work experience.
However, the teenage full-back will first play for Colchester's Under-18s against Gillingham on Saturday.

Hucknall borrow Imps man for Cup Lincoln City striker Gary Birch has joined Conference North side Hucknall Town on a month's loan.
The 25-year-old moves to Watnall Road in time for Saturday's FA Cup fourth qualifying round tie at King's Lynn.
The Imps have given Hucknall permission to cup-tie Birch, whose loan spell will last until 25 November.
Birch, formerly with Walsall and Kidderminster, had a loan spell at Tamworth earlier this season which was cut short by a knee injury.

Hawks-Lions tie moved to Fratton Havant & Waterlooville's FA Cup first round tie against Millwall has been switched to Portsmouth's Fratton Park ground on the advice of local police.
Although the Hawks' Westleigh Park ground was passed as suitable, police did not want ticketless Millwall fans wandering around the Leigh Park area.
The game will now kick off at 1945 GMT on Monday, 13 November.
\"The police have taken matters out of our hands,\" Hawks club secretary Trevor Brock told his club's website.
\"We are very disappointed with this decision as we have tried to move heaven and earth to play at Westleigh Park.
\"We will probably struggle to make anything out of this game once police costs and hiring costs are paid, but we will do our best to keep ticket prices as low as possible.\"
