Norwich City Relegated Norwich release three
Norwich have started preparing for life back in the Championship by releasing three of their players.
Right-back Marc Edworthy and youngster Danny Crow have left while Graham Stuart, who joined on a short-term deal from Charlton, will not be staying on.
"I would like to thank all three players for different contributions and their professionalism on and off the pitch," said manager Nigel Worthington.
The Canaries were relegated on Sunday after a 6-0 thrashing at Fulham.
Worthington added: "The way in which they have gone about their work for the squad has been first class and everyone at the club wishes them all the very best in the future careers.
Edworthy, 32, was a key player in City's promotion success of 2003-04 and he said: "It's been a double disappointment really, what with Sunday and then hearing the news today.
"But I've had a fantastic time here, although it would have been better if we could have stayed up and I could have been here next season."
Stuart, 34, was expected to leave while Danny Crow, 19, only made four substitute appearances this term and had a loan spell at Northampton.

Worthington to hold on to key men Nigel Worthington has denied reports he is set for a clear-out at Norwich following their Premiership relegation.
The Canaries have let Phil Mulryne, Marc Edworthy, Graham Stuart and Danny Crow go and are waiting on offers for winger Paul McVeigh.
David Bentley is set to return to Arsenal after a season-long loan, but the manager says nobody else will go.
"All the players I'm releasing have already been released. Everybody else will be here for next season," he said.
"I'm expecting all of them to be reporting back for training in late June."
However, Worthington may face a battle to hang on to England squad keeper Robert Green and striker Dean Ashton if big-money offers come in, while Damien Francis may also attract attention from rival clubs.
In addition, Danish defender Thomas Helveg has been advised to find another club by his national coach, Morten Olsen.

Arsenal monitor Tranmere's Taylor Arsenal are the latest club to be linked with Tranmere's £1m-rated youngster Ryan Taylor.
Norwich were set to bid for the 20-year-old defender, but boss Nigel Worthington claimed the player had decided to join Everton.
He said: "He's gone to Everton - it's a Premiership club and means that he doesn't have to move."
But The Guardian reports Everton have not agreed a deal and Gunners' boss Arsene Wenger is now pondering a move.

Green to mull over Norwich future Norwich goalkeeper Robert Green says he will have talks with the club over his future when he returns from holiday.
Green, 25, made his England debut in Tuesday's 3-2 win over Colombia and he is keen the Canaries' relegation does not harm his international ambitions.
"My future is something to think about when I get back from holiday," he said.
"It's not ideal, the Premiership is the place to play. In the England squad, there aren't many outside the Champions League let alone the Premiership."
He added: "I was picked for one friendly international when I was in the Championship. David James was picked in the same way when at West Ham.
"If you have England aspirations you have to prove yourself at the top level."
Green was reasonably happy with his debut despite conceding a goal after coming on for James at half-time.
"I knew when the team was announced that I'd be coming on at half-time. I'd have liked to have played the full game but it wasn't to be," said Green.
"Was I nervous? Yes, it is probably worse when you are watching the first half and you know you are going on and the tension builds up.
"It was a barrage at times with the way they were attacking. But it was great to be involved. You want to make saves and thankfully I did."

Fulham playing down Green reports Fulham have insisted that rumours linking them with Norwich goalkeeper Robert Green are unfounded.
The Cottagers have sold Edwin van der Sar to Manchester United and have been linked with Green as a replacement.
Norwich were relegated during the past campaign and Green, 25, knows he needs to be in the Premiership to improve his England prospects.
A Fulham spokesperson told BBC Sport: "There is no truth in the speculation. We have made no approach to Robert."
Green earned his first international cap in the recent 3-2 friendly win over Colombia on England's United States tour.
He is set to discuss his future with Norwich and may be keen to move to the top flight.
It could enhance his chances of making coach Sven-Goran Eriksson's 2006 World Cup squad - if England qualify for the tournament in Germany.

The 25-year-old, who is available on a free transfer, has been offered a new three-year deal by the promoted Latics but is set to move elsewhere.
"Of course he's entitled to talk to whoever he wants and that's what he's doing," Jewell explained.
"I have the utmost respect for him as a person and a footballer and we will wish him well whatever he decides."

Svensson opts for Elfsborg switch Norwich striker Mathias Svensson has completed a £100,000 transfer to Swedish club Elfsborg.
The 30-year-old made use of a clause in his contract that allowed him to speak to any European club that offered more than £100,000 for him.
Svensson joined Norwich from Charlton Athletic for a nominal fee in December 2003 and helped them win promotion.
He scored four goals in 22 Premiership appearances for the relegated Canaries last season.
The Canaries had hoped that the striker would stay at the club.

The highly-rated Green, 25, has just returned from the United States, where he won his first England cap.

"There are articles written every day but I haven't actually spoken to any newspaper for about three weeks."

Worthington wants Bentley again Norwich manager Nigel Worthington wants to bring Arsenal midfielder David Bentley back for another loan spell on their return to the Championship.
The 20-year-old made 28 appearances during an injury-hit season-long loan spell at Carrow Road last season.
"If there was an opportunity to bring him back here for another year then I'd love to do it," said Worthington.
"I don't know what Arsenal want to do - whether they'd want him to play in the Premiership, or to go out on loan."
Bentley missed part of last season with knee ligament damage, but Gunners boss Arsene Wenger said in March that he still has a future at Highbury.

Helveg warned over national role Norwich's Thomas Helveg has been warned by the Danish national coach that playing for a non-Premiership team may damage his international chances.
Morten Olsen said Helveg was too good to play for what he called "a club that belongs in a second grade league."
"I must find if there's any chance of using me as I'm not in the Premiership," Helveg told the Eastern Daily Press.
"Playing for my country in the World Cup would mean a tremendous amount."

Worthington keen to keep Helveg Norwich manager Nigel Worthington says Danish international defender Thomas Helveg will not be leaving despite their relegation from the Premiership.
Denmark coach Morten Olsen told Helveg, 33, playing for Norwich could damage his chances of playing for his country.
But Worthington told the Norwich Evening News: "Thomas is a Norwich City player and that's it - end of story.
"Thomas is under contract for another year and he'll report for pre-season training in a few weeks time."
The former Inter Milan star has reportedly been lined up by newly-promoted West Ham.

Parkin will think over next move Swindon striker Sam Parkin says he will take his time before deciding which Championship club to join this summer.
Parkin revealed he has already spoken to Watford, while Ipswich, Norwich and Brighton have also tabled bids for the prolific 24-year-old marksman.
"Things are a bit up in the air at the moment but I am hoping to speak to all interested parties," he told BBC Sport.
"But it may take a few days and I will not make a hasty decision. I've waited a long time for this opportunity."
Ipswich boss Joe Royle sees the former Chelsea trainee as the ideal replacement for top scorer Shefki Kuqi, who is set to leave Portman Road.
Parkin scored 24 goals last season and Royle said: "Sam was top of our list if Shefki went.
"But our interest is still very much at an early stage and beyond that I don't want to say too much.
"The chairman is talking to Swindon and it is an ongoing situation, but by the end of the week I hope to have a much clearer idea of our strikeforce for next season."
Parkin, who turned down a new two-year contract with the Robins last week, has just returned from a three-week holiday in Australia but says his transfer was never far from his mind.
"I'd be lying if I said I hadn't been thinking about it," he added.
"The idea was to have a break and get away from it all but I spent the majority of time either on the phone or the internet trying to keep up with developments back home."

Canaries boss Nigel Worthington told the club's website: "He's had this little niggle that's been something of an ongoing problem.
"But he's had a little operation to tidy things up and hopefully, that'll put it to bed once and for all."
