Newcastle want fee for QPR loan signing Routledge
Newcastle United are refusing to give on-loan QPR winger Wayne Routledge a free transfer.
The Sunday Sun says the winger was hoping to resurrect his Newcastle career after a stunning loan spell at QPR. But Alan Pardew has deemed him surplus to requirements and he will be leaving for the Championship leaders in the close season.
Newcastle WILL be asking for a fee, though, despite reports in London that they have terminated the player’s contract to allow him to depart on a free.
United are furious at those claims and insiders say there is no way they will let a star with two years left on his deal leave for nothing.
