Taarabt attracted enquiries from Newcastle during the winter transfer window, while he has also claimed interest from Manchester United.
However, it's emerged Sporting Lisbon are chasing the former Tottenham midfielder and can offer him Champions League football next season.
Taarabt insists he's happy in England and at QPR, where he has established himself as one of the most exciting talents outside the Premier League.
