New reserve team manager appointed
Former Fulham and Bristol Rovers man Justin Skinner has been appointed as manager of the QPR reserve team for the coming season. Skinner played with Gary Waddock in Bristol and has a variety of coaching experience. The thirty seven year old also played for Dunfermline, Walsall and Hibs before going on to coach at QPR, Windsor and Eton and Chelsea's academy. \"I really enjoyed my previous spell here but this is a different challenge altogether. It's a massive test, but one which I'm really optimistic about. \"I've been in the situation as a Reserve team player before, so I know what it's all about. I'm the link between Gary and Macca and the first team squad, and Joe Gallen and the youth set-up,\" Skinner told the club's official website. Manager Gary Waddock is delighted to be linking up with Skinner again; \"He's not only a good friend of mine, but is also a football man through and through. He's a bright, young, talented coach and will bring an array of new ideas and initiatives to the training ground.''
