Murphy on QPR radar after quitting Ipswich
FORMER Bohemians keeper Brian Murphy is on the move after rejecting a new contract offer at Ipswich Town.
Murphy missed the second half of last season due to an ankle injury but was still offered a new deal by Town boss Paul Jewell.
However, the Waterford man has decided to move on and could be a target for Premier League newcomers Queens Park Rangers.
"Brian Murphy has turned down the offer we made him and that's his choice. He has left the club and we wish him well," said Jewell.
Ex-Ireland cap Colin Healy has now agreed to sign a new one-year deal with the Tractor Boys, though, and he follows the example of compatriots Damien Delaney and Ronan Murray. However, Alan Quinn and Ian McLoughlin have left Portman Road.
