Federico Macheda could make his first QPR start in Saturday's FA Cup Third Round clash with MK Dons at Stadium mk.
The 20-year-old striker, who made his debut off the bench in Monday's 2-1 home defeat to Norwich, is eager to impress after recently arriving on loan from Manchester United.
"I am here to train hard firstly and then I hope to play a big part in the games," he told the Hoops' official website.
"There are some very big players at the club now and I am really looking forward to training and playing with them."
The Premier League strugglers, sitting a point above the drop zone, will be without their captain Joey Barton. The former Newcastle midfielder is suspended after getting sent off against the Canaries.
In other team news, Armand Traore and Fitz Hall face late fitness tests, but DJ Cambell is likely to partner Macheda up front.
The Dons, meanwhile, will be near full strength, with Charlie MacDonald the only absentee. The striker injured his knee late on in a recent 1-0 victory over League One rivals Colchester.
Karl Robinson's outfit, lying fourth in the standings, welcome back defender Adam Smith from a one-match ban.
