Marseille keen on Cisse loan deal
Marseille want to sign Liverpool striker Djibril Cisse on loan when the transfer window opens in January.
Cisse, 24, wants regular first-team football to ensure he makes the France squad for the 2006 World Cup finals.
And Marseille's sporting director Jose Anigo told the News of the World: "The possibility of signing Cisse on loan will firm up in December.
"We know he is not playing at the moment. If he wants to come here he will be made very welcome."
Cisse, who has made just two Premiership starts for Liverpool this season, admits he may have to leave if his situation at Anfield does not change.
The £14m forward has often found himself on the bench since the arrival of Peter Crouch in the summer.
And has also been used out of position on the right of midfield.
