Lopez makes play-off claim
New signing Jordi Lopez is confident that QPR have more than enough quality to secure a promotion play-off place this season.
The R's snapped up the 27-year-old midfielder on a free transfer until the end of the season after he left Real Mallorca in December. And, after training with his new team-mates this week, Lopez feels Paulo Sousa's squad has more than enough to clinch a top-six spot, despite them currently sitting in tenth position and four points behind Sheffield United in sixth place.
"I have been very impressed - it's clear how focused and determined they are to be successful. Now I want to play part," he said.
"My motivation is at the highest possible point. I am ready to play my part in helping the club reach the play-offs. That is the target for us all."
