Ipswich v Leeds
Ipswich boss Jim Magilton must decide whether to recall leading scorer Alan Lee, who returns from a one-match ban. Jon Macken deputised well in Lee's absence, while a bruised ankle is likely to limit Billy Clarke to a place on the bench. Leeds skipper Kevin Nicholls could return after coming through two reserve games unscathed following knee surgery. Robbie Blake (hamstring) is ruled out and defenders Matthew Kilgallon (ankle) and Gary Kelly (back) are doubtful.

Leeds recall Sullivan from loan
Leeds United have recalled veteran goalkeeper Neil Sullivan from his loan spell at Doncaster Rovers, reports BBC Radio Leeds. Sullivan could come straight back into the side for Saturday's visit of Hull City to replace loanee Reading keeper Graham Stack who has an ankle injury. Stack could be out for a month and his loan spell ends on 27 January. Sullivan, 36, has played five games for Leeds this term but had fallen out of favour with new boss Dennis Wise.

Leeds 0-0 Hull
Leeds remain second from bottom after drawing with relegation rivals Hull. The home side came close to breaking the deadlock in the 40th minute when Tresor Kandol's header was tipped over the bar by Hull goalkeeper Boaz Myhill. Early in the second half Ryan France headed straight at Leeds keeper Tony Warner following a Sam Ricketts cross. Leeds debutant Jonny Howson had a gilt-edged chance to score in the 75th minute but he scuffed his shot to leave Dennis Wise's team deep in trouble. Leeds manager Dennis Wise: \"Jonny Howson's only a baby, and it was a gamble, but he nearly got me the winner. He is a young lad with a lot of talent. \"He knows the game at an early age and in practice the other day he was the one who stuck out like a sore thumb. \"He's got good knowledge of the game and that's something that doesn't come too often.\" Hull caretaker manager Phil Brown: \"It was a superb point. \"The players dug in for me and showed exactly the type of character and commitment that we need. \"Hopefully I've bought the chairman more time with regards to appointing a new manager - and I don't think this will do my chances any harm.\" -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Leeds: Warner, Richardson, Ehiogu, Heath, Lewis, Howson, Derry, Douglas, Westlake, Kandol, Blake (Healy 71). Sunderland 2-0 Leeds
David Connolly set Sunderland on their way to a fourth straight home win that piled on the misery for dismal Leeds. Sunderland dominated but were largely restricted to long-range efforts until Connolly scored from a narrow angle after being released by Dwight Yorke. Assistant boss Gus Poyet showed Leeds' frustrations when he was sent to the stand for throwing a ball on the field. Grant Leadbitter added to their worries with a drilled second that delighted the majority of the 40,116 fans. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sunderland manager Roy Keane on bouncing back after losing to Crystal Palace: \"It was a good performance and a good reaction from the players to the defeat a couple of days ago. \"It would have been nice if we'd scored a few more goals but we thoroughly deserved the victory. \"We had to get a win because we have to keep up with that chasing pack. I wasn't concerned one bit.\" Leeds manager Dennis Wise on the transfer window: \"Hopefully I can bring a couple of new faces in and they will give us a lift which is what we need. \"We're working hard and we're trying to tie a few things up. \"There are 21 games to go and eight wins or seven wins can get you out of it. You've got to worry if there are 12 games to go and you're struggling.\" -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sunderland: Ward, Whitehead, Varga, Caldwell, Nyatanga (Collins 58), Stephen Elliott (Wallace 58), Leadbitter, Yorke, Miller, Murphy (Hysen 90), Connolly. Wise signs former team-mate Flo
Leeds boss Dennis Wise has strengthened his attack with the signing of former Chelsea team-mate Tore Andre Flo. The 33-year-old Norwegian striker was a free agent following a spell with Valerenga in Oslo and has signed until the end of the season. Flo scored 50 goals for Chelsea before spells with Rangers, Sunderland and Italian side Siena. Barnet striker Tresor Kandol and Mozambique defender Armando Sa are also poised to join Leeds. Kandol, 25, joined Leeds in November in a loan move that was set to expire this month and is expected to agree a three-and-a-half year deal. Subject to international clearance, 32-year-old Sa will arrive from Spanish side Espanyol and will initially join the Championship club until the end of the season. The 6ft 4ins Flo joined Chelsea in 1997, playing alongside Wise and his assistant at Leeds Gus Poyet during a three-year spell. He made more than 100 league appearances for the Blues, but nearly half came as a substitute. His 50 goals were enough to persuade Rangers to pay a club record £12m for the striker in 2000. However, after two seasons and 39 goals, he left for Sunderland, where he found the net six times in 33 appearances before heading to Italy.

Blades sign Kilgallon from Leeds
Sheffield United have bought 23-year-old defender Matthew Kilgallon from Leeds United for £1.75m. The England Under-21 international has signed a three-and-half year contract in a deal which could increase to £2m. "Playing in the Premiership is what I've always wanted to do." Kilgallon told BBC Radio Sheffield. While Blades boss Neil Warnock said: "We offered more in the summer, so it's a good piece of business. Sometimes you are rewarded for patience." Kilgallon was a product of the Leeds United Academy and played 95 times for the Elland Road outfit and also had a loan spell at West Ham. And the defender added: "This is a big opportunity for me in the Premiership. I'm here now and I'm really excited about it. "I've played well in the Championship, but now this is a step up, so I have got to prove myself. "I played a few games in the Premiership when I was younger and I did OK, but now I have to show what I can do all over again. "I'm 23 today, and now I want to establish myself as a good, young defender in the Premiership. I want to do as well as I can." And Warnock said that his new signing - the first of the January transfer window for the Blades - would relish the challenge of making a first-team place his own. "He is the type of boy that fits into the squad. He is a nice lad, but not too nice on the pitch, which is what we want," added the Blades boss. "I think we'll bring the best out of him. He'll enjoy playing with us, and the squad will enjoy having him around. "He gives us a bit more quality, and that's what we are trying to do. We're trying to improve the squad. "He still knows he has a job on his hands to establish himself at this level, but that's a great challenge for somebody like him."

Stack returns after long lay-off
Leeds keeper Graham Stack has returned to full training after six weeks on the sidelines with an ankle injury. Stack, who signed a loan extension until the end of the season in January made his comeback for the reserves against Shrewsbury on Monday. The former Arsenal goalkeeper is now targetting a place ahead of first choice Neil Sullivan. He told the club website: "I'm desperate to play now and there is a competitive edge among the keepers."

Wise faces second charge from FA
Leeds manager Dennis Wise faces another Football Association charge of improper conduct after he was sent off for the second time in just two months. Wise was ordered from the dugout during their 1-1 draw at Southend on Saturday after venting his fury when a late penalty appeal was turned away. FA disciplinary chiefs will now assess referee Nigel Miller's report. "I've had problems with him before," said Wise. "I don't want him as a ref. He's not good and I don't want him." He added: "I hope there was an assessor here and I hope they put him down a couple of divisions. "He gave the penalty and then he pointed the other way. It's a disgrace. "I don't know what he sent me off for, I wasn't listening. Walking on the pitch perhaps?" Wise is already due to answer a similar charge relating to Leeds' 3-2 home defeat to West Brom on 20 January.

Wise found guilty of misconduct
Leeds United manager Dennis Wise has been given a suspended one-match touchline ban and a £4,000 fine by the Football Association. Wise was charged with misconduct after his dismissal from the dug-out in the game against West Brom in January. The Leeds boss denied the charge at a personal appearance in Birmingham. Wise also faces a separate, second misconduct charge after being ordered from the touchline in the 1-1 draw at Southend in March.

Bolton recall Michalik from Leeds
Bolton have brough a premature end to Lubo Michalik's loan spell with Championship strugglers Leeds. The 23-year-old was due to spend the rest of the season at Elland Road but rejoined Bolton on Friday after a 24-hour release clause was activated. The central defender started seven games for Leeds and scored the winner against Plymouth on 7 April. Michalik signed a three-and-a-half year deal with Bolton in January but has not yet made a Premiership start for them.

Gray extends loan spell at Leeds
Leeds have extended the loan spell of Blackburn defender Michael Gray until the end of the season. Gray, who missed the defeat at Southampton through illness, is available for Leeds' last two games, but with a 24-hour recall clause. Meanwhile, Alan Thompson's appeal against the red card received at Southampton will be heard on Wednesday. Thompson faces a three-match ban for violent conduct, which would rule him out for the rest of the campaign.

Leeds star Thompson wins appeal
Leeds midfielder Alan Thompson has won his appeal for wrongful dismissal. Thompson was facing a three-month ban after being sent off for violent conduct in Saturday's 1-0 defeat against Southampton. He was alleged to have grabbed Saints' Jhon Viafara round the throat during a first-half melee but the Football Association overturned the red card. The 33-year-old will now be available for the relegation-threatened club's final two games of the season.

Leeds veteran Kelly set to retire
Leeds United stalwart Gary Kelly is to retire at the end of the season. Kelly, 32, has spent his entire career at Elland Road and has played 531 games for the club after making his debut in the title-winning season of 1991/92. The former Republic of Ireland defender was also in the Leeds side that reached the 2001 Champions League semi-finals. He will hang up his boots after Sunday's game with Derby - which, barring a mathematical miracle, will see Leeds relegated to League One. Leeds will go down for the second time in three seasons unless they score a hatful of goals to beat Derby and Hull City lose at home to Plymouth. Kelly was presented with a crystal-cut vase after Saturday's draw with Ipswich to mark his 16 years with the club. He has not made a first-team appearance for Leeds since November 2006.

Relegated Leeds in administration
Leeds United have been relegated to League One after being deducted 10 points for going into administration. The 10-point deduction - in accordance with Football League rules - means Leeds will finish the season at the bottom of the Championship. However, they will not lose any points for the start of their first season in League One in August. Administrator KPMG has already agreed to sell the club to a newly-formed company led by chairman Ken Bates. A KPMG statement said: "Shortly after their appointment the joint administrators agreed to sell the business and its assets to a newly formed company. "This company is called Leeds United Football Club Limited, the directors of which are Ken Bates, Shaun Harvey and Mark Taylor. "The sale of the club is subject to approval by its creditors, via a Company Voluntary Arrangement (CVA). "The creditors' meeting, to consider the CVA, will be held before the end of May. The Football League will also need to approve the sale." Former Chelsea chairman Bates hailed a new era for the club - but also criticised the old regime for incurring huge debts. "The action taken brings to an end the financial legacy left by others that we have spent millions of pounds trying to settle," said Bates. "But the important thing now is not to view this as the end, but the beginning of a new era. "The financial burden of the past finally pushed the club into administration following the issuing of a winding up petition by HM Revenue & Customs, who will be one of the company's major creditors. "The other parties who will suffer the biggest financial loss are institutions from which the board arranged funding: Astor Investment Holdings, Krato Trust and Forward Sports Fund who collectively will lose in excess of £22m." The Football League has confirmed Leeds' 10-point deduction and expressed its disappointment. "Following confirmation that Leeds United have obtained an administration order, the Football League can confirm that the club has been deducted 10 points from its 2006/07 tally," said head of communications John Nagle. "Given the recent reduction in the numbers of clubs resorting to formal insolvency proceedings, it is disappointing that Leeds United have had to seek the protection of an administration order. "Discussions have already begun aimed at establishing how Leeds United intend exiting administration. "This will have to include complying with the League's insolvency policy under which all 'football debts' must be settled in full." KPMG revealed Leeds had debts "totalling approximately £35m, with a cash injection of approximately £10m required to continue trading".
