Lee Camp to get in goal for QPR at Blackpool
Lee Camp is ready to pull on the QPR goalkeepers’ jersey at Blackpool tonight for the first time in five months.
The England U21 player steps into the breach vacated by Radek Cerny, who has pulled a hamstring in training.
Camp’s one-and-only previous appearance for the Hoops this term was a 3-2 Carling Cup win against Swindon in August.
But because Cerny had already been inked in as the number one, Camp went on loan to Nottingham Forest for three months where he helped them climb out of the relegation zone.
However, a permanent deal foundered when Forest were not prepared to meet anything like Rs’ £1m valuation for the Derby-born player.
