Larsson ruled out of AC Milan tie
Henrik Larsson will miss the first leg of Barcelona's Champions League semi-final against AC Milan on Tuesday with a thigh injury.
The Swedish striker limped off just nine minutes into Barca's 1-0 win over Villarreal at the Nou Camp on Friday.
Larsson's replacement Santi Ezquerro went off with a knee injury and is doubtful for the match at the San Siro.
Samuel Eto'o grabbed his 24th goal of the season against Villarreal to push Barcelona closer to the Spanish title.
The 25-year-old fired home from 18 yards to move his side 14 points clear in La Liga, with five matches left.
Villarreal face Arsenal in a Champions League semi-final on Wednesday but have won only once in seven league games.
However, Manuel Pellegrini's side could have snatched a point when Jose Mari fired wide of the post after finding himself in space on the edge of the box late on.
But Barcelona deservedly held on, with Villarreal's misery compounded by injuries to defenders Gonzalo Rodriguez and Juan Manuel Pena.
Villarreal, who are now eighth in La Liga, will also have been disappointed with the display of keeper Mariano Barbosa, who is set to deputise for the suspended Sebastien Viera against Arsenal.
The Argentine produced a nervous display, while Villarreal's makeshift strikeforce were also comfortably blunted by Barcelona's backline.
However, Pellegrini attempted to ensure his side would be fresh for their clash with the Gunners, leaving Juan Pablo Soran, Alessio Tacchinardi, Diego Forlan and Juan Roman Riquelme out of the squad, with Quique Alvarez, Marcos Senna and Javi Venta on the bench.
