Harriers star explains red card
Kidderminster captain Daryl Burgess felt he had no choice but to make the challenge which saw him sent off in the goalless draw with Stevenage. He was dismissed for a professional foul on Jon Nurse, but told the club website: "I think I had to do it. "The lad ran across me, and if he got away from me he would probably score. "I knew there was a chance I'd walk if I made the tackle but it was imperative we got something from the game. It was a risk worth taking, and we hung on."

York v Kidderminster
York defender Jamie Price is the only doubt for the hosts as they look to build on an impressive midweek win at Altrincham against Kidderminster. Price missed that match with a knee injury but is in contention in an otherwise fully-fit squad. Kidderminster boss Mark Yates will be without skipper Daryl Burgess as he begins a two-match suspension. However, Yates can call upon Luke Reynolds, despite the striker limping out of last week's draw with Stevenage.

York 2-2 Kidderminster
Clayton Donaldson struck a minute from time to deny 10-man Kidderminster and keep York's play-off hopes alive. The game sprung to life when Harriers' Michael Blackwood saw red for handling in the area and Andy Bishop converted the penalty to open the scoring. But York did not make their pressure tell and paid the price when Terry Fleming struck from range to level. Luke Reynolds' header then put Kiddie ahead, but Donaldson swept home late on to snatch a point for the Minstermen. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- York: Porter, Thomas (Stewart 79), McGurk, Dudgeon, Peat, Convery, Panther, Neil Bishop, Dunning (O'Neill 75), Donaldson, Andy Bishop. Canvey Island 2-1 Kidderminster
Goals from Dwayne Clarke and Jason Hallett were enough to earn Canvey Island the spoils at home to Kidderminster Harriers. Clarke fired Canvey into the lead inside a minute, netting from 12 yards as the home side dominated during the opening stages. Hallett then volleyed home Mario Noto's cross on the stroke of half-time. Luke Reynolds was on hand to convert Gareth Sheldon's cross 18 minutes from time but it was not enough. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Canvey Island: Potter, Kennedy, Chenery, Conroy, Ward, Noto, Minton, Clarke, Bimson, Keeling (Boylan 70), Hallett (Tait 84). Yates wants Reynolds to stay on
Kidderminster boss Mark Yates is hoping to sign striker Luke Reynolds on a permanent basis for next season. The former Telford player, 26, joined Kidderminster on non-contract terms in March and has scored three times in his first six games for the club. "We've already had a little chat about next season," said Yates after his side's 1-0 win over Cambridge. "Hopefully we can entice him to join us full-time as he'll be a fantastic asset to us."

Dag & Red v Kidderminster
Craig Mackail-Smith and Sam Saunders are both available for Dagenham after recovering from minor knocks. Anwar Uddin may return after being rested for Monday's 2-2 draw with Canvey Island but Paul Bruce (suspended) is definitely out. Kidderminster boss Mark Yates welcomes Johnny Mullins and Michael Blackwood back from suspension for the clash. But Russell Penn (hamstring) and striker Lee Thompson will both face fitness tests ahead of the game.

Winger Smith departs Aggborough
Kidderminster Harriers have released former Burnley and Sheffield Wednesday winger Paul Smith. The remainder of his contract, which was due to expire in the summer, has been cancelled to allow the player to spend further time with his ill mother. Smith had been allowed time away from Aggborough, and with no return on the cards, had his deal terminated. The 30-year-old was restricted to just three substitute appearances after signing at the end of January.

Hurren signs Kidderminster deal
Kidderminster defender Gavin Hurren has agreed a new deal to keep him at the club until the end of next season. Hurren, who joined Harriers last summer after being released by Nottingham Forest, has established himself in the first team in recent weeks. "I'm genuinely really pleased to be here for next season, but the effort from me certainly isn't about to stop," Hurren, 20, told the club website. He also had a loan spell at Bromsgrove Rovers earlier this season.

Craig Mackail-Smith scored twice as Dagenham brushed aside Kidderminster with a devastating first-half display. Sam Saunders drilled home from 12 yards in the 34th minute and the hosts added two more in the next 11 minutes. Paul Benson cut the ball across goal for Mackail-Smith to convert from close range and he added a second by prodding home Chris Moore's left-wing cross. Bury striker Jon Newby has returned to Gigg Lane following a month's loan spell at Conference club Kidderminster. He will be available for the Shakers' final two games of the season after completing his time at Aggborough. The 27-year-old failed to score in seven appearances for Kidderminster and missed a penalty in his final game at Dagenham on Saturday. Kidderminster have also allowed on-loan defender Simon Rea to return to Nuneaton Borough.

Kidderminster 2-0 Accrington
Champions Accrington suffered a blip in their last Conference game of the season as they lost to Kidderminster. The home side took the lead early in the second half through Lee Thompson, after Gareth Sheldon and Jake Sedgemore combined to carve out the opportunity. And Luke Reynolds wrapped things up with a close-range volley after a Thompson effort had hit the post. Just past the hour Accrington threw on Paul Mullin, but the prolific striker was unable to stir the champions. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Kidderminster: Lewis, Mullins, Burgess, Hurren, Sedgemore (Walker 90), Russell (McGrath 24), Fleming, Penn, Sheldon, Reynolds, Thompson, McGrath (Byrne 90). Reynolds agrees Aggborough deal
Kidderminster Harriers striker Luke Reynolds has agreed a 12-month deal at the Aggborough Stadium. Reynolds, 26, scored four times in eight games after joining the club on non-contract terms in March. The former Telford United striker had attracted interest from a number of League clubs but has opted to start his full-time career with Kidderminster. He follows defender Jonny Harkness in confirming his place in manager Mark Yates' squad for next season.

Foster rejoins Harriers as physio
Former Kidderminster striker Ian Foster was overjoyed to be asked to return to the club as their new physiotherapist. He scored 37 goals in 164 appearances during his three spells at Aggborough, and won the Conference title with both the Harriers and Chester City. "When the call came from (boss) Mark Yates, I nearly broke his wrist in trying to snap his hand off," Foster, 29, told Kidderminster's website. "I love this club dearly, and I'm just delighted to have this opportunity."

White back for new Harriers spell
Kidderminster have signed striker Andy White on a one-year deal, following his recent release by Notts County. The 24-year-old has had two previous loan stints at Aggborough, and told the club website: "I've enjoyed every minute of the times I've played here. "The spell I spent here last season just confirmed all of that. "I went back to Notts County after being on loan here - when I knew things weren't going to work out there, there was only one place I wanted to go." White joins recent arrival Stuart Whitehead at Kidderminster, while Ian Foster has rejoined the club as physio, and Michael Blackwood and Simon Russell have both signed new contracts.
