Jones named in Wales squad
QPR goalkeeper Paul Jones has been called into the Wales squad for their Euro 2008 qualifier against the Czech Republic next month.
The 39-year-old is likely to start for John Toshack's side against the Czechs in Teplice on September 2, before returning to Britain for a friendly against Brazil at White Hart Lane on September 2.
Jones' Rangers team-mates Damion Stewart and Nick Ward could also be tasting international action in the near future.
Centre-back Stewart is in the Jamaica squad for two friendlies against Canada, on September 4 and October 8, and Peru on November 15.
And midfielder Nick Ward is on stand-by for the Australia squad for their Asian Cup qualifier in Kuwait on September 6.
