Jones happy with Rangers' squad
QPR's teenage striker Ray Jones believes that the strength in depth of the Rangers squad gives him a \"buzz\" and inspires him to perform better.
The 18-year-old striker has scored four goals so far this campaign but with the likes of Kevin Gallen, Dexter Blackstock, Paul Furlong and Marc Nygaard all vying for places up front he knows his place is not assured.
He told the club's official website: \"I've got great players around me and playing alongside them gives me a buzz.
\"But if I come on or I start I've got to perform because those players are behind me.\"
The youngster also revealed that he was expecting to sign a new contract sooner rather than later.
He added: \"That should be sorted out within the next week or so and then I can put my head down to the football.\"
