Joe Cole's Season May Be Over
Joe Cole's season may be over before it has really started as Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho revealed the player is currently contemplating surgery on a foot injury.
The 25-year-old has been advised by the club doctor to undergo surgery on the injury that has kept him out of action since November when he made the last of his three starts this season.
Mourinho revealed: \"Joe Cole, I think is an injury forever, or at least for the season.\"
He added: \"He has a stress fracture and has to make a decision about surgery or no surgery. I don't know his decision but time flies.
\"He has an opinion from our doctor, which is surgery, but we are waiting for the player to make his decision.\"
