Jay Simpson eyes Emirates future
Loan ace Jay Simpson admits he still wants to make an impact at Arsenal.
The Gunners have problems with injuries up front and cannot have failed to notice their youngster's form in the Championship where he has caught the eye with eight goals.
Simpson is at Loftus Road until the end of the season but the striker clearly wants a future at the Emirates.
He told the Evening Standard: "I want to score goals at the highest level and I believe I can do that.
"I know Arsenal send someone to watch all my home games and they keep copies of my performances. Even with the injuries, though, I don't know what position I'd be in if I went back."
He added: "Scoring obviously can't have done my chances any harm and I'm still really close with the young guys at Arsenal."
