Injured duo out of England squad
Manchester City defender Joleon Lescott and Blackburn keeper Paul Robinson have pulled out of the England squad for the World Cup qualifier against Ukraine. The pair have been replaced by Bolton centre-back Gary Cahill and Manchester City keeper Joe Hart, who is on loan at Birmingham, for Saturday's away tie. England have already won a spot in next year's finals in South Africa, having beaten Croatia 5-1 in September. They face Belarus at Wembley on 14 October in their final qualifier. Lescott, 27, is heading back to City with a calf problem he picked up in Monday's 1-1 draw at Aston Villa, while Robinson, 29, will return to Rovers after suffering a hip injury. Cahill, 23, and Hart, 22, have both played for England Under-21s, and the latter won a full cap in a friendly against Trinidad & Tobago last year. Bolton defender Cahill travelled with the senior squad to Kazakhstan in June but has not yet won a full cap.
