Huddlestone handed two-game ban
England Under-21 midfielder Tom Huddlestone has been given a two-match ban following his sending-off in the European Championship win over Serbia. The 20-year-old, who had been on the pitch for only three minutes, was sent off in the final minute for dissent. And the suspension means the Tottenham man will miss the final if England beat Holland in Wednesday's semi-final. Stuart Pearce's team won a bad-tempered match 2-0 to secure their place in the last four behind Serbia in the group. Uefa is investigating Serbia for racist chanting directed at a number of England players as well as the conduct of their players, both during and after the match. England's second goal sparked ugly scenes as Matt Derbyshire opted to play on instead of kick the ball out for Slobodan Rajkovic to receive treatment to an injury. And Uefa will also be looking into the conduct of England's players at the final whistle.
