Terriers close on City defender Huddersfield are close to finalising a deal to sign Bristol City defender Richard Keogh on a month's loan, reports SSB.
Terriers manager Andy Ritchie hopes to sign the Republic of Ireland Under-21 international, 21, in time for Saturday's trip to Millwall.
"We are 99% sure that the move will happen," Ritchie told Town's website.
"I spoke to (City boss) Gary Johnson and it appears that we made the enquiry at just the right time."
Keogh has made 53 league and cup appearances since joining City from Stoke in 2005.

The first recruit, Huddersfield striker Lucas Akins, 18, is yet to start a first-team game for the Terriers but has made six substitute appearances.
"The move will be good for him," boss Andy Ritchie told his club's website.
Maamria has also signed Crewe striker Nick Farquharson, 19, until 3 January while Rotherham defender Natt Kerr, 20, has joined for a month.

Glennon dismissal angers Ritchie Huddersfield boss Andy Ritchie was left fuming with the decision to send off keeper Matthew Glennon as Town slipped to a 4-1 defeat to Southend.
"We didn't play well at all, especially in the first half and we were fortunate to go in only 1-0 down at half-time.
"We created a good goal but the sending off wrecked the game for us.
"Our keeper was sent off despite their player Leon Clarke telling the referee that he slipped and Matt didn't touch him. I'm hoping it will be rescinded."

Jevons looks for permanent move Phil Jevons has requested that his loan move from Bristol City to Huddersfield be made permanent in the New Year.
The striker has scored three times during his loan spell and is out of contract at Ashton Gate next summer.
Huddersfield boss Andy Ritchie told SSB: "I'll be speaking to (Bristol City manager) Gary Johnson about extending his loan.
"Phil is quite happy to do that but he's made his intentions clear that he'd love to join the club."

Huddersfield announce £1.05m loss Huddersfield Town have announced a loss of £1,055,094 for the accounting year ending May 2007 - compared to a profit of £61,754 for the previous 12 months.
The League One club's income fell from £5.3m to £3.97m during the year, with gate receipts at the Galpharm Stadium down from £3.1m to £2.02m.
In addition, player wages rose from £1.56m to £1.64m.
However, debts owed to former players were cleared during the year, three years ahead of the original schedule.
In his report, chairman Ken Davy stated that it was "very disappointing" to have only finished 15th in League One in 2006/07, when the club's minimum target was the play-offs.
A lack of progress in cup competitions also resulted in a loss of income, while Peter Jackson was sacked as manager in March 2007 and replaced by Andy Ritchie.

McLeish unhappy with FA Cup exit Birmingham boss Alex McLeish believes his side should take a long hard look at themselves after they were knocked out of the FA Cup by Huddersfield.
Chris Brandon's late strike gave the League One side a 2-1 victory over McLeish's Premiership strugglers.
And after the defeat the Scot said: "Every one of our players can look in the mirror and say 'we've let ourselves down and let the fans down'.
"We had three or four internationals and we should be better than that."
Huddersfield manager Andy Ritchie was delighted with his side's victory but has called on his team to correct their faltering league form.
"We rode our luck on one of two occasions but we had the chances," he said.
"It's fantastic for the town, the fans and not least the players. But it's back down to earth on Monday.
"I think that result challenges us to reproduce that form in the league - that's what I'll be saying to the lads in the week."

Huddersfield close on Page deal Huddersfield are set to sign Coventry City defender Robert Page, after the Sky Blues cancelled the remainder of his contract at the Ricoh Arena.
The ex-Wales international, 33, is poised to put pen to paper on a deal running until the end of the season.
Page joined Coventry from Cardiff City in February 2005.
However, he has not played a league game for Coventry since April 2007, and has featured in just two Carling Cup ties this season.
He retired from international football in September 2006 after winning 41 caps for his country.

Ritchie bemoans Town's defending Huddersfield Town manager Andy Ritchie has blamed poor defending for their 2-1 defeat at Carlisle on Tuesday night.
It brought an end to their four-match winning streak in League One and leaves them 15th in the table.
He said: "I'm disappointed because it's two corners that's undone us really and we've been quite good at set pieces of late and we didn't deal with them."
"We battled hard in the second half - I can't have a go at them for the performance," he added.
Danny Livesey and Danny Graham scored for Carlisle either side of the break before Rob Page grabbed what proved to be a consolation for the Terriers.
Town had won their previous four games and Ritchie said: "We've had a really good run and we're not going to take it to heart too much."
"We're going to look at it and dissect it, but for long periods of the second half I thought we were going to get something out of the game but it wasn't to be," he added.
Town will now be keeping a close eye on the fitness of leading scorer Luke Beckett and captain Jon Worthington ahead of Saturday's FA Cup tie at Chelsea.
Both had to sit out Tuesday's game with injuries.

Allen tempted by Huddersfield job Former Brentford and Leicester boss Martin Allen has expressed a tentative interest in the vacant manager's position at Huddersfield Town.
Andy Ritchie left the club on Monday, leaving the Terriers to look for their third manager in less than a year.
The 42-year-old told SSB he is keen to get back into management and Huddersfield Town would interest him.
Allen has been out of football since August after being sacked by Leicester boss just three months into his reign.
"I've managed against Huddersfield before and it's an awesome set-up, it's a big club with good support," Allen was quoted in Tuesday's Yorkshire Post.
"I have had several opportunities but it has got to be the right job for me," he added.
Other names being linked with the job are former Bradford and Wigan manager Chris Hutchings and former England captain Alan Shearer.
Morecambe assistant Mark Lillis and current Carlisle number two Greg Abbott have also been mentioned.

Bradford bag midfielder Brandon Huddersfield Town midfielder Chris Brandon is joining Bradford City on a two-year contract.
The 32-year-old, a former trainee at Valley Parade, has moved to the Bantams after being told his deal at the Galpharm Stadium would not be renewed.
He joined Huddersfield from Chesterfield in July 2004 on a free transfer and spent the latter part of last season on loan at Blackpool.
The Bradford-born player made 148 appearances for the Terriers.

Ternent wants consistent Terriers Huddersfield boss Stan Ternent has demanded his side become consistent after Saturday's 3-2 loss to Leicester.
In their last six league games the West Yorkshire side have won two, lost two and drawn two games.
"I think we are getting there and we are showing great character," Ternent told Radio Leeds.
"Everything takes a bit of time. Unfortunately we seem to win one, then lose and then draw and we are too inconsistent. We need to change that."

Booth is ruled out until new year Huddersfield Town striker Andy Booth has been ruled out of action until early next year.
The 34-year-old has only made four appearances this season due to a back injury which now requires surgery.
Town boss Stan Ternent told Radio Leeds: "He will have the operation on Tuesday in Croydon."
"We will be without him until January, if everything goes well. It's a blow because we need him and I'm hopeful the operation will be a success."
Despite Booth's injury problems he had hit top form under Ternent's management, scoring two goals in four matches.
"Boothy was meant to have this operation on Tuesday just gone," Ternant added.
"However the chap going to do it was out walking, fell over and broke his leg.
"So he is out of action for six weeks and so has recommended an expert in Croydon for the operation instead."
Apart from Booth, Ternent has reported a fully-fit squad for their home match with Bristol Rovers on Saturday.

Parker back in my plans - Ternent Huddersfield Town manager Stan Ternent has said Keigan Parker is now back in his first-team plans.
The 26-year-old striker played only his second full game for Town in the goalless draw with Yeovil on Tuesday.
Ternent told Radio Leeds: "He did well and we are looking for more from him now.
"He tries hard, but there have been a few personal issues. He seems to be OK with that now and that is a step in the right direction."
Parker moved to Town from Blackpool in the summer, but has been used mainly as a substitute so far this season.
"If Keigan is now focused on his football that is a good sign for Huddersfield Town football club," said Ternent.
Meanwhile Danny Cadamarteri is expected to remain sidelined for at least another two weeks due to an on-going hamstring injury.

Huddersfield sack manager Ternent Huddersfield have sacked manager Stan Ternent after six months in charge.
The 62-year-old was only appointed boss in April but won just four of his 15 League One games at the helm this season, despite signing 11 new players.
His final game in charge was Saturday's 3-2 home win over Crewe, which left the Terriers 16th in the table.
Chairman-elect Dean Hoyle told Radio Leeds: "I had a sit down with Stan yesterday and we have a difference of opinion that had to come forward."
He continued: "The players' management wanted to go one way and the board of directors felt we need to go another way.
"We had a board meeting first thing this morning and came to the unanimous decision to go our separate ways mutually."
Ternent's management team of assistant Ronnie Jepson and first-team coach Mick Docherty have also left the club.
Hoyle added: "Whether you're top of the table or bottom, if the management and the board of directors have a difference of opinion, which wasn't the same difference when Stan took the job, then you've got to go our separate ways.
"We've shook hands and I wish Stan, Ronnie and Doc the best. It's a shame it has come to this.
"Twelve, 13, 14 games for Stan is not long enough. I also believe eventually Stan would have gotten this club promoted, maybe not this year but next year. But when you have a difference of opinion on some matters, maybe it's not for us."
The club have also announced the departure of vice-chairman Andrew Watson, who played an integral part in the appointment of Ternent as Andy Ritchie's successor.
A club statement said: "Huddersfield Town has some great supporters and tremendous potential as well as great history and the search is now on to find someone who can harness these elements and take the club forward."
Ternent's appointment at the Galpharm Stadium came three years after his previous managerial job at Gillingham came to an end.
He started his managerial career at Blackpool but enjoyed his greatest successes at Bury and Burnley, guiding both to promotion to what is now the Championship.
Jon Robb, chairman of the Heavy Woollen branch of the supporters' group, said: "Most Town supporters will be pleased.
"The timing is a bit of a surprise though and we didn't really expect it.
"Stan has only just come out and said he never walks away from any job and that he was going to turn it around, so to leave by mutual consent is a bit surprising.
"Stan was not the man to take us up to the Championship."
The West Yorkshire club have now had four managers in less than two years.
Robb added: "We are not a big club or a small club, we fall in between which is a problem in attracting the manager with the whole package.
"We have a good crowd base and a good chairman elect in Dean Hoyle, who is Town mad.
"So the base is there to push on, we just need the right manager in charge, because we should be higher up."

Terriers in no rush for new boss Huddersfield Town chairman-elect Dean Hoyle has told BBC Radio Leeds it could be months before they appoint a successor to Stan Ternent.
Gerry Murphy's third spell in charge of the club began with Saturday's 4-3 defeat by Port Vale in the FA Cup.
"There's some good managers in and out of work, but we're in no rush - we'll take our time," Hoyle said.
"Gerry will steady the ship and we'll get it right hopefully this time, but yet again, nothing is guaranteed."
"We have no firm person in mind - and even I we had, I wouldn't tell you."
Hoyle also revealed the club will take a new approach to finding a new man in charge.
"We're going to do it a different way - it's a little bit radical but we're not going to talk about board meetings and application forms - we're just going to do what we think is best.
"You can do as much homework as you want but it's the gut feeling when you're talking to the guy and you look into their eyes and you know they can do a job for you.
"I have been quoted about young, hungry and with fire in their belly and ideally that would be the right choice, but nothing's guaranteed."
But Hoyle also admitted that finding the right man for the job would take time, and urged supporters to be patient.
"It's not going to happen next week and I doubt it will happen in the near future.
"I think it could be one, two, three, maybe four months before it comes but that also shows that Gerry and Mitchell have steadied the ship - you never know, they might even get on a run hopefully.
"There's no question about it - Stan's brought in some good players and we had some good players but what they do need is a leader.
"That's the most important thing I've got to do now - to find them a leader to lead them and the club."
