Hoops secure starlet's future
QPR have secured the future of Scott Donnelly by getting the highly-rated youngster tied down to his first professional contract.
The midfielder has broken into the first-team squad this season and after making a number of substitute appearances was handed his first start in the clash against Crystal Palace.
The youngster impressed when setting up Paul Furlong's goal and has now been rewarded with a two-and-a-half year deal.
"I'm very happy to sign, it is the culmination of nine years hard work and it has finally paid off," Donnelly revealed. "I'd like to thank all the coaches, mainly Joe Gallen and Gary Waddock who gave me my scholarship and put me in the youth team at a young age. I'd also like to thank Gary for giving me my full debut.
"It's been hard work to get this far and it will be even harder to progress further."
