Hoops on Sky!!
The R's trip to the Madejski Stadium - home of Reading - has been selected for live Sky Sports coverage.
Rangers make the short trip along the M4 on Saturday 25th October, for a fixture which will now kick off at 5.20pm.
Steve Coppell's side were relegated to the second tier of English Football at the end of last season, with just 36 points from their 38 Premiership fixtures.
Rangers last visited the Madejski Stadium on the final day of the 2006/07 season, when goals from Paul Kitson and Graeme Murty gave the Championship title winners a 2-1 victory.
However, Rangers recent record in front of the Sky cameras is impressive, with memorable victories against Charlton Athletic and Stoke City last season.
Sky's opening Championship fixtures are as follows:
Sat 9 Aug - Birmingham City v Sheffield United (12.45pm)
Sun 10 Aug - Nottingham Forest v Reading (1.15pm)
