Hoops complete Lopez deal The 27 year-old, who is a free agent following his release from Real Mallorca in December, has penned a three month deal with the R's.
Speaking exclusively to www.qpr.co.uk, Paulo Sousa believes López's arrival will add to the already healthy options he has in his midfield department: "Jordi is a very, very capable player and will give us great options in the middle of the park.
"He can play central or wide and is technically a very good player. He is a very creative midfielder, and we are looking forward to welcoming him into our family."
López - who will wear the number 20 shirt for the R's - began his career in the successful Barcelona and Real Madrid B squads.
After featuring twice for Madrid's First Team in the 2003/04 campaign, he moved to Sevilla, with whom he won the UEFA Cup, netting in the Andalusian's 1-0 victory against Lokomotiv Moscow on route to the Final.
In total, López made 37 starts for Sevilla, scoring twice, before moving to Real Mallorca in 2006. He went on to make 24 appearances for Mallorca, before being loaned out to Racing Santander.
During his time at the Estadio El Sardinero, López helped the Racinguistas achieve their first-ever UEFA Cup qualification.
