HOLLOWAY GLUM OVER LANGLEY SWITCH
Ian Holloway has admitted QPR cannot afford to re-sign Cardiff midfielder Richard Langley because they cannot match his £7,000-a-week wages.
"He (Langley) is on a lot more money at Cardiff than he was on at QPR, so that's going to be a problem for us," said QPR boss Holloway.
"We're a million miles away from signing him and if you want to talk percentages, the chances of us signing Rich are 20 per cent. That's not very optimistic, is it?"
Harlesden-born Langley made his senior bow for QPR during the 1998-99 season and went on to become a favourite with the Loftus Road faithful.
He arrived at Ninian Park for £250,000 in August 2003, but the cash-strapped Bluebirds now need to sell their top wage earners in an attempt to reduce a near £30million debt.
