HOLLOWAY DEFENDS SANTOS
QPR manager Ian Holloway has launched an impassioned defence of utility man Georges Santos.
The 35-year-old - who joined Rangers on a free transfer in the summer of 2004 - has been targeted by a section of the Loftus Road crowd, who believe the Frenchman should be ditched by Holloway.
But Holloway said: "I paid nothing for him and he's a utility player. He plays the odd strange ball but isn't he allowed that?
"He's unorthodox but he can play in virtually any position."
