Gregory eyes up survival
Queens Park Rangers boss John Gregory has warned his players not to get carried away with their 1-0 victory over Preston North End at Loftus Road. Dexter Blackstock's superb strike earned the Hoops a crucial victory in their bid to avoid relegation to League One, but they are still only four points clear of the drop zone. Gregory said after the win: "The hardest thing is to settle everyone down, because there is still a lot of work to be done. "Saturday's defeat by West Brom was a massive punch on the nose, but it shows the character that we have in the dressing room. "We are four points clear of the relegation zone now, but it is effectively five points, because our goal difference is vastly superior to that of the teams around us. "So the teams below us will probably have to win two matches to get past us, which is a big ask."
