Grayson close to Evatt swoop
Blackpool boss Simon Grayson is in talks with Queens Park Rangers counterpart John Gregory regarding a deal to sign defender Ian Evatt.
The 25-year-old has been on excellent form for the Seasiders this term, and he is keen to move to Bloomfield Road on a permanent basis.
Grayson is thought to be trying to negotiate a permanent deal, but if that cannot be agreed, Evatt could sign a loan deal until the end of the season.
The Seasiders boss told the Blackpool Gazette he is hopeful of concluding a deal soon:
\"We need to try and sort it and we are working towards doing that.
\"As soon as we have any firm news we will let people know but until it's actually done it's dangerous to predict anything.\"
