Goal-shy QPR seek to boost firepower
QPR are hoping to snap up Bolton striker Heidar Helguson this week on loan with a view to a £1.5m permanent switch.
Helguson, 31, has been plagued by an ankle injury and has made only two appearances for Bolton this term.
Rangers, who have scored just five goals in their past 10 league and cup games, were interested in Sunderland's Michael Chopra last week but the striker preferred to move back to his former club, Cardiff.
The Championship side have now made former Watford and Fulham striker Helguson their main target.
