Gills chief reveals power problem
Gillingham chairman Paul Scally has revealed that Saturday's friendly with QPR nearly had to be called off, after their electricity was cut off. \"I spent 36 hours arguing with the company about how and why they turned it off,\" Scally told Sir Stanley. \"But it still took me two days to get it restored, which is too long.\" QPR won the game 1-0 thanks to a goal by Ray Jones - while the Gills fielded trialist goalkeeper Raymond Homoet, a Netherlands Antilles international.
