Gabbidon boost for Hoops
QPR have received a boost on the injury front as defender Danny Gabbidon's problem is not as bad as first feared.
The 32-year-old had to come off in the final ten minutes of the win against Wolves at the weekend, with what looked like a serious knee problem.
He was sent for a scan on the injury on Monday but the problem is not as bad as first feared much to the delight of head physio Nigel Cox.
He told the club's website: "Danny twisted his knee, and the subsequent swelling made a full examination difficult.
"We sent him for a scan on Monday morning and the report has come back that there is no major structural damage, which we are delighted with.
"The injury certainly isn't as bad as we initially feared. At this moment in time he is a doubt for this Sunday's game against Aston Villa but he is working hard and doing everything he can to be available for selection."
