Speaking after Saturday's 2-0 defeat at Doncaster Rovers, the former Wales international said: "I've seen QPR quite a few times now and even if they don't play well, they make sure they take something away with them from the game.
"That's what we've got to do. Take a look at them. They bring more than performances to the table with them. We've got to bring more than that too.
"They've not played well throughout all of those matches. They've shown they can grind results out of required. It's a valuable lesson for everyone to learn."
