Tony Currie Turns 57: Born January 1, 1950.
Brilliant England midfielder. Signed by Tommy Docherty in the summer of 1979 for a club record 400,000 pounds, as part of the QPR rebuilding effort after the club's relegation. In his four seasons at QPR, he had a number of injuries, but played around 80 games for the club - including captaining the club in the FA Cup Final replay
