EUSTACE MISSES QPR VISIT
Watford caretaker manager Malky Mackay will be without midfielder John Eustace for the visit of QPR.
The central midfielder will sit out a one-match suspension after picking up five yellow cards for Mackay's first game in charge at Vicarage Road.
Mackay named the same side at Barnsley last Saturday which had won in the Carling Cup at Swansea but the move backfired as the Hornets went down to a 2-1 defeat.
So the likes of Will Hoskins, Grzegorz Rasiak and John-Joe O'Toole could all return to the starting line-up as Watford seek their first league win since the departure of Adrian Boothroyd.
Goalkeepers Mart Poom (dislocated shoulder) and Scott Loach (abdominal tear) remain sidelined but Mackay has no other injuries to contend with. He has allowed winger Lionel Ainsworth to rejoin Hereford on loan.
The Vicarage Road crowd will get the chance to welcome former crowd favourite Heidar Helguson after he joined Paulo Sousa's side on loan until January.
Heidar Helguson goes straight into Paulo Sousa's first QPR squad for the trip to Watford.
The Icelandic striker has joined Rangers on loan from Bolton until January and could be named in the starting line-up against his former club.
Defender Matthew Connolly came off with a back injury against Burnley last weekend and might be struggling, but Mikele Leigertwood has completed a four-match suspension and could bolster the back line.
Sousa, who was appointed Iain Dowie's successor as first-team coach on Wednesday, may bring back on-loan Real Madrid midfielder Daniel Parejo following a back problem.
Argentine winger Emmanuel Ledesma scored for the reserves in midweek and could also earn a recall.
Akos Buszaky is out for the season with a knee injury and Rowan Vine is still battling back from a broken leg.
