Esperance advance in Champs Lge
Esperance of Tunisia have qualified for the group stages of the African Champions League despite being held 0-0 by Young Africans of Tanzania.
Saturday's result at the CCM Kirumba Stadium in Mwanza means Esperance win the tie 3-0 on aggregate.
Esperance played much of the game with 10 men after Tunisian international Lachkham Chakib was sent off half way through the first half after exchanging words with Zimbabwean referee.
Esperance played a cautious game and seemed happy to defend their 3-0 lead from the first leg.
Young Africans tried their best to attack the visitors creating numerous chances and forcing a host of corners but were unable to make their dominance count.
Gaudence Mwaikimba and Gula Joshua were guilty of squandering many of Yanga chances.
