Emmanuel Ledesma on target
Emmanuel Ledesma was on target for QPR's reserves as he attempted to stake a claim for a return to the first team against Watford on Saturday.
The Argentine midfielder, who started the season in superb form but has struggled to hold onto his place in recent weeks, scored from the penalty spot to put Rangers ahead in their clash with the Hornets' second string on Tuesday afternoon.
Ledesma's strike was not enough to secure a victory, however, as Watford hit back three times to run out 3-1 winners.
Latvian defender Kaspars Gorkss, who has also found first-team football hard to come by since joining from Blackpool over the summer, got 90 minutes under his belt.
