Duo set for Loftus Road
Queens Park Rangers are reportedly close to landing Togo World Cup star Alexis Romao.
The 22-year-old put in some impressive performances for the African nation during the recent tournament in Germany, and his displays have caught the eye of Rangers boss Gary Waddock.
Reports suggest Romao could feature for the Hoops in Tuesday's pre-season friendly against Aldershot before putting pen-to-paper on a deal at Loftus Road.
QPR chairman Gianni Paladini has confirmed the Londoners interest in the player, and also revealed they are hoping to sign Didier Drogba's brother - Joel.
\"If Gary likes what he sees then we will do our best to keep the players,\" Palladini said.
