Duo return for Rangers
Queens Park Rangers have been boosted by the return to action of Gareth Ainsworth and Paul Furlong for the reserves on Tuesday night.
Ainsworth has been out since the draw with Preston in August, while Furlong has not featured so far this season.
Veteran striker Furlong was on target with the opener in a 2-1 win over Hinckley United, with Simon Donnelly also on target.
The return to action of Ainsworth and Furlong will be a boost for John Gregory who also saw injury-plagued young defender Dominic Shimmin back in action
\"It was vastly important for the likes of Furs, Gaz and Dominic to get some action and thankfully they all came through unscathed,\" coach Richard Hill told the club's website.
\"Furs took his goal well and his positional play was second to none. On another day he could have scored four or five. \"Gaz got a blow on the nose, but he picked himself up and set the standards by which the others followed. He was tremendous.
\"Dominic did great. He got 60 minutes under his belt and although there are one or two things that need working on, in general he did very well.''
