Duo face a race to be fit for QPR
Wolves face an anxious wait to see if captain Paul Ince and Lee Naylor will be fit for Saturday's trip to QPR.
Both players were struck down with back injuries during Saturday's 3-2 win at Hull.
Manager Glenn Hoddle is already without Jackie McNamara, Gabor Gyepes, Seyi Olofinjana, Colin Cameron and George Ndah.
Ince, who hobbled away from the KC Stadium, and Naylor will be wrapped in cotton wool in the countdown to the trip to Loftus Road.
But they were praised by manager Glenn Hoddle for battling through 90 minutes.
"As at Burnley, Paul Ince and Lee Naylor could have come off at half-time with back problems," said the boss. "Both have got really stiff backs. Paul got a knee in the back and Lee twisted awkwardly.
"But they saw 90 minutes through when some players may have bowed out which says a lot about their characters. They set a good example."
Hoddle revealed goalscorer Jeremie Aliadiere asked to come off because he was "running on empty".
The Wolves boss rested £1.4m signing Tomasz Frankowski for the on-loan Arsenal striker to start only his second game since April 2004.
"Jeremie's a bit rusty - he's not played regular first team football for over a year," said Hoddle.
"He was running on empty - he's missed this level of football.
"He didn't play at Celtic or really at West Ham, so I felt we were only going to get 60-70 minutes out of him.
"But he's a fit lad and he lasted a bit longer. He was very professional saying he needed to come off.
Hoddle is convinced Frankowski will come good, despite failing to score in six outings.
"If we can get Tomasz sharper and he starts scoring, his record is second to none," said the boss.
