Droylsden
Droylsden boss Dave Pace may look to Chester City for reinforcements before the transfer window closes.
Chester chairman Stephen Vaughan told the Daily Post: "It's no secret we have a close relationship with Droylsden.
"They have spoken to us about taking two or three of our players either on a temporary basis or permanently."
Fringe players Ashley Westwood, Sean Hessey, Phil Bolland, Dean Bennett and Simon Marples may be among those available for a move.
Stephens joins Droylsden on loan
Bury midfielder Dale Stephens has joined Blue Square Premier side Droylsden on a month's loan deal.
Stephens has moved to the Bloods for the chance of first-team experience after signing his first professional contract at Gigg Lane in the summer.
The 19-year-old has made one appearance for Bury this season after making two starts in League Two last season.
Stephens made his Droylsden debut as a substitute in their 3-2 defeat at Altrincham on Saturday.
Pace stays calm after Bloods win
Droylsden boss Dave Pace remained calm after they recorded only their second league win of the season after beating free-scoring Forest Green 5-3.
Jamie McGuire and Chris Denham both scored twice as the Bloods came back to win after being 3-2 down.
"I'm not going to say it's the turning point for us - we are good going forward, but I need to shore up the defence," Pace said.
"I just need to get the best out of these players."
Droylsden capture Bradford pair
Droylsden have signed Bradford City midfielder Luke Morgan and forward Sean Taylforth on a month's loan.
Morgan, 19, has not played for City's first team but Taylforth, 18, has made two appearances for Stuart McCall's side this season in cup games.
Also, Bantams striker Luke Medley, 18, has joined Cambridge City on loan while apprentice Adrian Bellamy has joined Ossett Albion on work experience.
Last week, midfielder Craig Bentham, 22, joined Farsley Celtic on loan.
