Former Southampton youngster Blackstock hit 14 goals last season and will be hoping to better that this time around with Rangers and their fans looking to be competing at the right end of the Championship table after last term's struggles.
Gregory lost star winger Lee Cook to Fulham last month and admits history could repeat itself in the future.
